Chelsea Loft Renovation – New York, NY Having occupied this 2,000 SF loft in Chelsea for many years, the client decided to embark on a gut renovation in order to better allocate the loft’s spaces and allow for optimal placement of an eclectic collection of art and vintage furniture. The main living space was partitioned into a series of smaller discrete spaces including a living room, dining area, salon and wine cellar. The Master Suite was reconfigured to allow for a larger Master Bath, more efficient closets, and a home office. In addition, custom cabinets were added to the Guest Bedroom and the Guest Bathroom was upgraded. New Russian White Oak wide plank flooring was installed throughout the loft.
The project is this recipient of a 2018 athome Magazine A-List Award in the category of Living Space, and was featured on the cover of the November/December issue of the magazine. It has also appeared on HGTV.
